Time Traveler Socks

This is my third pair of grown-up socks :)  The yarn is Knitpicks Felici and the colorway is called "Time Traveler"...so I reversed the stripe order on the second one, with the idea that one was going into the future and the other into the past.
 

Team Crochet Project!

This throw pattern was in my last Crochet Today magazine, and I thought it was really cute, so I decided to make one. Then I called my sister, Maggie, who also crochets to see if she wanted to make one too - she did! Then I told Mom that Maggie and I were both making one and she said...well, I'll make one too then. And then we kindly coerced my other sister, Sarah to join in the fun :) We all picked our colors and got started... Here is our progress: Mine is first...

You can see we all picked totally different color combos and it's been fun seeing how they all are turning out! 

Grown-up Socks

 

 

I MADE SOCKS!!!

I'm pretty excited - I knitted some socks! Granted, they are tiny ones - newborn size in fact. They were quick and not too hard at all. now I'm ready to try a grown-up pair. This little pair went to my new niece Robyn.

Progress on One Sweater

Here is my Amazing sweater body all pinned out. This is the most recent picture of my progress, even though I now have also blocked the sleeves and sewn the shoulders together. I gotta get another skein of the yarn to put the collar in, then I can finish sewing it up! This was my first experience with blocking...

Sock Monkey

Here are a couple little hats I made for Neo Pechey. I think they turned out cute, and little Neo is a cutie too! That's a lot of cute for one place, but I think his parents can handle it.

Amazing Scarf

Here is a scarf I knitted in Lion Brand's "Amazing" yarn. I love the colors!

Current Projects

Actually, I have quite a few more projects than this on the needles, but these are the ones I am actively working on just now...

Project Shrug: I am doing this one along with Maggie. I guess I didn't print out the pattern for this one because it's pretty much a rectangle. You can see what I'm making here. I think it's going to be nice and warm and comfy and I love the colors of this yarn. It's Lion Brand Homespun in Painted Desert.

Project Wisteria: I also decided to do the current Lion Brand knit-a-long, which is this sweater. I've been wanting to do SOMETHING with the Amazing yarn since it came out, so here it is. The colors are beautiful! Thanks to Sarah for picking the color for me by name over the phone...good choice! The color is called Arcadia.

Project Real Sweater: I started this sweater last winter, but have not worked on it during the warm weather.  I have pulled it out again to finish. This will be my first actual sew-it-all-together sweater. With cables even! I chose purple of course :)  So far I have 2 sleeves done and most of the back. Not too far to go!
